El Grullense E & E in Redwood City

Food flavor is second to none! Staff is very friendly but quite slow sometimes..... I wish to go in and start enjoying my food sooner... 🙂

Always go here when visiting the bay area. Their quesadillas are huge and very affordable. Their red salsa is the best.

We went there today ..goodness worst taco carnetas that i ate ..its looks like ur eating wood ..the meat was over cooked and the tacos was hard..everything was hard..we go out unsatisfied and still hungry..grrrr never ever go back there again!!!!

Best tacos at a great price, little under $2. And beer about $3. Salsa a bit spicy if your not use to spicy. Parking can be challenging as the lot is tiny.

I went to try it out since it was a long time ago that i had their food. Not gonna back. I had a torta that to me , my 5 year old could have put together. Neither their salsa or pickled jalapenos had any spicy flavor. Sad day. I left still hungry.

Haven't been here in almost 20 years.. Much the same... the chicken taco was delicious! The chicken was very tender! I didn't enjoy the asada sope as much.. it lacked flavor.

I've been coming to this place for 12+ years, it never disappoints. I love spicy food, but their sauce is fire, I usually get it on the side so I can decide how much to put on. I wish the were places like this in the northern peninsula.

Great food and reasonable prices, but it could do with a better dining area and chips&salsa.

I thought there was hot sauces and vegetables like cucumbers, radishes and pico de gallo but there's nothing like that like other taquerías ☹

Pretty good prices and service. It's a little spicy for people not used to spicy food. But overall pretty good, lots of varieties. Authentic Mexican food.

Edit - based on other local reviews. This is not fancy place.... think soup natzie. This is not an american mexican food shop. I was looking for a real authentic street taco... this is that. Very authentic Mexican fast-food experience. Menu is cryptic. Ask about specials of the day... they aren't posted. Very inexpensive but good. Preferred the pork and chicken tacos ... beef was a bit too dry.

Oh my gosh I asked for napkins and she threw them at me also that place's bathrooms were disgusting

Low quality taco joint. My carnita was so hard it tasted like jerky. Been to Mexico many times and wishing for more authentic tastes.It’s cheap though and did not get food poisoning... that’s worth the 2nd star.Won’t come back, not worth the calories.

The sauce on the wet burrito earn a start on its own.

Tacos were delicious and the quesadilla was on point. The red salsa was fire but the green was way better cant wait to go back and eat there again.

Best tacos and green sauce in Redwood City. They use yellow corn tortillas and the green sauce is fire! Been going here since middle school, no other grullense compares!

Good Mexican food ! They open up late too ! I reccomend ask for your sauce on the side and to stay away from the red sauce if you don't eat really spicy or you won't be able to eat your food. I prefer the green sauce, still a little spicy but good . LOVE the sopes and tacos ! Love the agaus frescas too. I always pass by here because I know what I'm gonna get and they have good authentic Mexican food !!!

I've only had a couple of items and they've been pretty good. Pretty authentic but nothing too amazing. But just be warned, the hot sauce that they use on a lot of their stuff is incredibly spicy and they won't ask you before putting it on. If you don't like spicy tell them to leave it off.cheers!

Called ahead for my favorite al pastor super burrito with extra cheese & again I was not disappointed. Perfect portions of meat, beans, cheese, ect... Be back in Monday!
